DispatchHealth seeks a dynamic leader to join an innovative and rapidly growing team. This individual is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one market containing one to four cars. This includes managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. They will also be responsible for maintaining medical equipment, ordering supplies, and implementing policies and procedures. Direct reports include DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) in assigned area.     

$5,000 sign-on bonus.   DispatchHealth is looking for a Lead Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider or APP) to join our growing clinical team in Chicago.      The Lead APP at DispatchHealth promotes the DisptachWay by providing clinical leadership to the APPs.  Through interviewing, hiring, training and ongoing performance management, the Lead APP will drive safe, high-quality care resulting in improved patient outcomes.  The Lead APP will work collaboratively with the Market Manager (MM) and the Regional Medical Director and cross functionally with Central Services teams, to enhance the patient, provider and partner experience.       This position is a combined role including patient facing clinical shift and administrative duties. Proportion of clinical and administrative time commitment predicated on several factors, including size (number of cars) of market, number of offices etc.The performance of clinical services during scheduled shifts as an APP is an essential requirement for the Lead APP’s duties in their assigned market.   Specifics for assigned area will be discussed during the interview process.

A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, an operational focus and the ability to create and support growth tactics are important attributes for this role. A demonstrated ability to create, build and sustain effective relationships with individuals and groups at all levels internally and across the full spectrum of organizations is a must. This position is supervised and mentored by a Regional Market Director.  Applicants must live in, or willing to relocate to, the Nashville area for this position.
