DispatchHealth is looking for a Lead Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider or APP) to join our growing clinical team in Columbus, OH.     The Lead APP at DispatchHealth promotes the DisptachWay by providing clinical leadership to the APPs.  Through interviewing, hiring, training and ongoing performance management, the Lead APP will drive safe, high-quality care resulting in improved patient outcomes.  The Lead APP will work collaboratively with the Market Manager (MM) and the Regional Medical Director and cross functionally with Central Services teams, to enhance the patient, provider and partner experience.       This position is a combined role including patient facing clinical shift and administrative duties. Proportion of clinical and administrative time commitment predicated on several factors, including size (number of cars) of market, number of offices etc.The performance of clinical services during scheduled shifts as an APP is an essential requirement for the Lead APP’s duties in their assigned market.   Specifics for assigned area will be discussed during the interview process.

The DispatchHealth Medical Technician II (DHMT-II) supports patient care by assisting with physical exam, point of care testing, treatments and data gathering.  The DHMT II works at the direction of a virtual DispatchHealth Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) while being present with patients in their homes.  Strong organizational and customer service skills are keys to success as the DHMT-II. As a mobile ultrasound technologist at DispatchHealth Imaging, you’ll: Use a company vehicle equipped with sonography equipment and drive locally to ultrasound patients in different facilities throughout your shift to support patient populations from adults, geriatrics, women, and children.  

Pay: $30-$35/hr $20,000 sign-on bonus for full time! As a mobile radiologic technologist, you’ll: Use a company vehicle equipped with a compact, portable x-ray machine (DR), and drive locally to x-ray patients in different facilities throughout your shift to support patient populations from adults, geriatrics, women, and children. Depending on the market you may also utilize EKGs, Holter Monitors, and Pacemaker Checks. If you are looking for a dynamic work experience with more freedom and flexibility than in a traditional hospital or clinic x-ray department, then a career move here is for you.

Provide mobile, diagnostic echocardiographic scans for physician diagnosis utilizing portable echocardiography equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. Echo exams may be performed in a variety of settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, short-term rehabilitation facilities, specialty clinics, and correctional facilities.  Echo technologist needs to be creative to position the patient's body to capture a clear image for the cardiologist to assess.  Additional experience in general vascular ultrasound procedures a plus.
