The DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) Basic Acute supports patient care and by assisting with physical exams, point of care testing, treatments and data gathering. The DHMT Basic Acute works at the direction of a virtual DispatchHealth Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) while being present with patients in their homes. Strong organizational and customer service skills are keys to success as the DHMT. DispatchHealth is looking for a Lead Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider or APP) to join our growing clinical team in Chicago.
The Lead APP at DispatchHealth promotes the DisptachWay by providing clinical leadership to the APPs. Through interviewing, hiring, training and ongoing performance management, the Lead APP will drive safe, high-quality care resulting in improved patient outcomes. The Lead APP will work collaboratively with the Market Manager (MM) and the Regional Medical Director and cross functionally with Central Services teams, to enhance the patient, provider and partner experience.
This position is a combined role including patient facing clinical shift and administrative duties. Proportion of clinical and administrative time commitment predicated on several factors, including size (number of cars) of market, number of offices etc.The performance of clinical services during scheduled shifts as an APP is an essential requirement for the Lead APP’s duties in their assigned market. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you’ll:
Use a company vehicle equipped with a compact, portable x-ray machine (DR), and drive locally to x-ray patients in different facilities throughout your shift to support patient populations from adults, geriatrics, women, and children. Depending on the market you may also utilize EKGs, Holter Monitors, and Pacemaker Checks. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Operations, the Headquarters (HQ) Office Manager is responsible forDispatchHealth’s headquarters office located in Denver, CO, ensuring that the facility is efficient, safe and compliant for all team members and visitors. This individual works with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure that all maintenance and capital needs are fulfilled, the office maintains a professional and clean appearance, parking and seating arrangements are kept up to date, events are well coordinated, and deliveries and supplies are efficiently managed. This individual will be adept at managing relationships and multiple relationships at the same time, will be comfortable with change and tight deadlines and will work collaboratively across many departments to support smooth operations at DispatchHealth Headquarters.
